Though Ian Malcolm would probably object, a Jurassic World Live tour is scheduled to kick off in 2019.

According to Coming Soon, Feld Entertainment and Universal Brand Development are collaborating on a live show inspired by the blockbuster “Jurassic World” franchise. The multi-year arena tour begins in the United States in Fall 2019, featuring life-size dinosaurs extending up to 40-feet long. State-of-the-art projection mapping transports guests to Isla Nublar, where animatronics and performer-operated characters bring iconic dinosaurs to life.

After launching in the U.S., Jurassic World Live will continue on a global tour.

“Feld Entertainment has the expertise and experience to bring this iconic franchise to life through an innovative format in an immersive arena setting coupled with a unique narrative that includes iconic locations and fan-favorite dinosaurs – creating edge-of-your-seat, live entertainment that is a mix between a stunt show and a 3-D thrill attraction,” said Kenneth Feld, Chairman and CEO of Feld Entertainment.

Jurassic World Live will be built and rehearsed at the Feld Entertainment Studios in Florida.

“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” the next installment in the movie franchise, arrives in theaters on June 22.
