Dr. Seuss’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” is a favorite of the holiday season, and next year we can look forward to a new version of the grinchy tale.

The animated film features Benedict Cumberbatch as the voice of the adult Grinch, but a new poster revealed via the movie’s Twitter account shows us the green grump before he got mean. The young Grinch is pretty adorable and seems to be in the seasonal spirit with a red plaid scarf, so presumably, we’ll find out why he grows up to hate Christmas so much.

The movie comes from Illumination Entertainment, the studio behind “Despicable Me” and “The Secret Life of Pets.”

“The Grinch” arrives in theaters on November 9, 2018.
