In celebration of the holidays, Disney’s Contemporary Resort just debuted its New Gingerbread Cinderella Castle display.

The Walt Disney World Resorts are famous for joining in on the holiday fun by featuring their own special Christmas decorations during the change of the season. Disney’s Contemporary Resort in the past has had different holiday displays and this year’s is in ode to the classic Disney film “Cinderella.”

WATCH – GINGERBREAD CINDERELLA CASTLE:

Sitting at the front of the display is Cinderella and Prince Charming, who sit on a stage lined in gingerbread bricks. Placed on the bricks are candy cane Mickey emblems to add a little wintery flair. Next to the stage where the castle sits are Christmas trees and poinsettias to fit in with the holiday theming.

The display includes 17 hidden Mickeys, 560 pounds of honey, 428 eggs, 417 pounds of chocolate and the combination of over 1,400 gingerbread bricks. This fairytale holiday piece of art took over seven days to assemble by more than twenty Contemporary Bakery cast members.

Here is a preview of just some of the 17 hidden Mickeys that can be found on the display. Some are represented in gold emblems while others are carved into the gingerbread bricks.

To catch a glimpse of this stunning display, head over to the fourth floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort today where it will be throughout the holidays. Also be sure to look below for some additional pictures of this beautiful holiday spectacle.
