Force Friday II is getting started a little early with a surprise augmented reality event for Star Wars fans around the world.
Fans within 1 mile of certain global landmarks can open the Star Wars app, select “Find the Force,” and point their phones at the sky to watch an AR scene unfold. A 10-second animation shows a Star Destroyer looming over the landmark as two TIE Fighters speed past into the distance.
