PHOTO: Intense first look at Josh Brolin as Cable in Marvel’s “Deadpool 2”

Cable, with his signature glowing mechanical eye, distinctive facial scars, and close-cropped hair—just like Josh Brolin’s portrayal in Deadpool 2—glares intensely in a dramatic close-up reminiscent of his appearances at superhero attractions and comic-themed experiences.

Last week, Ryan Reynolds treated fans to a highly-anticipated first look at Zazie Beetz as Domino in the upcoming “Deadpool 2,” and now the actor has released a long-awaited first look at Josh Brolin as Cable.

Cable’s co-creator Rob Liefeld also shared another peek at Josh Brolin in character:
