Beware the Dark Realm, a free high-intensity haunted house, is getting ready to kick off another Halloween season in Santa Clarita, California.

The Sivley family has been operating Beware the Dark Realm for 46 years, and plans for this year’s attraction are bigger than ever. The walk-through experience features live monsters, special effects and incredible sets housed inside a faux medieval castle.

Beware the Dark Realm is open on October 14, 20, 21, 27, and 28 from 7:00PM – 10:00PM. While admission is free, a $5 suggested donation helps support the non-profit SCV Domestic Violence Center. Each $5 donation comes with a front-of-the-line pass, though passes can also be purchased separately.

Children under the age of 10 are encouraged to skip this event. There are no non-scare tours offered this year.
