Disney’s “Jungle Cruise” movie officially has a director.

Jaume Collet-Serra, who directed the 2009 horror film “Orphan” and the 2014 Liam Neeson thriller “Non-Stop,” has signed on to helm the “Jungle Cruise” film based on the classic Disney attraction. Dwayne Johnson has already been confirmed to star in the movie, with a script by J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay (writers of the upcoming “Star Trek Beyond”).

Johnson tweeted that he’s excited to work with the “visionary filmmaker” on the project. Collet-Serra had been in the running to direct the sequel to “Suicide Squad,” but Deadline reports he has withdrawn from that film.

Plot details for the “Jungle Cruise” movie are still unknown, but filming is expected to begin in Spring 2018.
