As Disney fans around the world as most likely already aware, actor Johnny Depp (“Edward Scissorhands,” “Alice in Wonderland”) made a surprise appearance inside Disneyland‘s classic ““Pirates of the Caribbean attraction last week as a promotion for the new film “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.”

Today Disney released a short official video documenting the event, with hidden-camera looks at on-ride guest reactions to seeing the genuine-article Captain Jack Sparrow come to life inside Walt Disney’s original Pirates boat ride in Anaheim, California.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” will open in theaters nationwide on Friday, May 26th.
