I was going to say “But Donald wasn’t IN the original DuckTales!”, but…actually he was. Strategic two-ep. appearance in the pilot arc.
He’s also in MANY comic books with Scrooge.
To be honest I probably wouldn’t have remembered that from the original run if it wasn’t for the fact that I recently played the series in order for my kids.
