Disneyland announces Mickey’s Halloween Party 2016 dates, tickets on sale next week

Donald and Daisy Duck take center stage in their Halloween costumes, leading the lively nighttime parade down Main Street as enthusiastic fans line both sides, capturing the excitement and magic of Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland. Friendly reminders are visible along the route encouraging guests to follow Disney’s adult costume guidelines for a safe and festive event.

Talk about timing! After yesterday’s extensive post here discussing Disneyland’s new guidelines for costumes at Mickey’s Halloween Party, the park has finally announced the 2016 dates for the event on the official Disney Parks Blog.

So mark your calendars and get ready for a spooky night of fun at Walt’s original Magic Kingdom, with “trick-or-treating, the exclusive ‘Halloween Screams’ fireworks and more.” Disneyland also announced that new for this year’s event will be the Headless Horseman, from the 1949 Disney classic “The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad,” riding through the park each night. Sounds delightfully creepy!

  • July 21: Tickets on sale to Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders, Disney Rewards Visa card holders and Disney Vacation Club members
  • July 28: Tickets on sale to general public
  • Mickey’s Halloween Party 2016 dates: Friday, Sept. 23; Monday, Sept. 26; Wednesday, Sept. 28; Friday, Sept. 30; Monday, Oct. 3; Wednesday, Oct. 5; Friday, Oct. 7; Monday, Oct. 10; Wednesday, Oct. 12; Friday, Oct. 14; Monday, Oct. 17; Wednesday, Oct. 19; Friday, Oct. 21; Monday, Oct. 24; Wednesday, Oct. 26; Saturday, Oct. 29; and Monday, Oct. 31

As you can see in the quoted text above from the Parks Blog, tickets will start going on sale as soon as next week for Annual Passholders and other VIPs, and then the following week for the general public!

Mickey’s Halloween Party 2016 starts Friday, September 23rd and runs select nights through Monday, October 31st.
