Ghost rider would be cool to be seen on agents of shield. But in the last season one of the characters whose power was fire grabbed a chain and it lit on fire and he used it as a weapon. His name is hellfire. So I think it’s a reference to him.

Yyyyeah, that sounds more like it.
We’re not sure if Fox DID give Skullhead back with Daredevil, but he’s more in the “supernatural” canon that Marvel would want to introduce after Dr. Strange, than the real-world don’t-say-Mutants “powered individuals” that SHIELD deals with.

It would be nice to see Ghost Rider go back to cruising the dark streets again, than the supernatural-demon stories the Nic Cage movies did–and he’s certainly “You’ll never get another movie” enough for the TVU to do–but if he isn’t in the Avenger-verse, he’s more likely to show up on a Netflix spinoff at worst.

(Er, oops, meant “If Sony gave him back with Spiderman”. Which is even less likely.)

In May of 2013, the film rights to Ghost Rider reverted to Marvel Studios from Sony Pictures, although it’s been confirmed that there are no immediate plans to produce another film yet. In June 2016, actor Norman Reedus expressed interest in playing Ghost Rider

A reporter asked him if he -wanted- to, and hey, if they asked me, I’d want to, too.

Then again, maybe it’s Gwen Rider, Marvel hasn’t done that alternate-universe spinoff yet…
