Who wouldn’t want to be a professional zombie? Ever since Universal Studios Hollywood announced that it would be opening a permanent, year-round walk-through maze attraction based on the hugely-popular AMC action/drama “The Walking Dead,” would-be walkers in Los Angeles have been dying to know how to land a part.
That question was answered at the end of April, when Universal posted an open audition for scare actors. The auditions took place this past Thursday and Friday at the park, and I had the opportunity to be on-hand to witness the proceedings.

The park has not announced a specific opening date for The Walking Dead Attraction, but rest assured that it will be filled to the brim with terrifying scares, and the excellent production design we have come to expect from the similar Halloween Horror Nights mazes at Universal Studios Hollywood.
