I know just what Wade means 🙂 I only managed to get on last time by dieting for a week, cutting down on beer, then on the day, breathing out to reduce my chest size to get the overhead restraints to click in place. It was worth it, though tough to get round without being able to breathe.
If you are too fat, they make you get off and you have to stand there like an ‘eejit’ waiting for the carriage with the ‘fat’ seat to come round. We termed it the ‘wait of shame’!
I can’t wait for this classic coaster to reopen with a new fresh look! It’ll be amazing to see that old entry marquee back again, perhaps my favorite part of the whole renovation. And the new ride vehicles look amazing and futuristic! Will the new ride live up to the influence and thrill that the old ride had?
