Meh. With a few exceptions, those stores can all be found at your local mall.
I think the selling point would be selling exclusive Disney items. The Kate spade had some unique Minnie Mouse items
I don’t like to be the jaded guy, but it kinda looks like the Premium Outlets in Orlando… I haven’t been there yet, but from what i’ve seen it turned out to be not very Disney-esc, or am I wrong?
It is premium outlet-esque. But as with everything Disney does, the theming of the neighborhood is unbelievably detailed and beautiful. You really have to see it in person to feel how immersive it is.
I’m very disappointed that disney has gone this route. It is beautiful , we visited today, but the disney feel is gone once you cross the bridge into what is essentially an outdoor mall. I fear this will become just another place where people from out of the area stop and shop. I loved downtown disney, the adventures club, enjoying the walks from the hotel to all that was offered only at disney. Really wondering why disney felt it needed to go so commercial…. And a line 40 people deep to get a cupcake?! Are you kidding me?! We have always been disney enthusiasts, but the magic is fading….
