Hm. It’s a good thought, but I believe it has something to do with the music box. Several people have commented that it will be revealed with the next mailing, and that perhaps we should not have gotten that particular message this early in the game.
It’s my understanding that there’s supposed to be three ghosts to rescue and not just the two, also, so it’s probably just kind of buggy in general. Perhaps because you haven’t completed all three rescues (even though it did unlock the final ‘thanks’ at the HM itself) that the item scanning thinks the procedure isn’t complete and that’s making it hang?
I dunno, still, it’s pretty impressive and since it’s the first project anything like this, it’s to be expected that there’s going to be some bugs.
Oh, that’s interesting. Now that I look closer at the final fortune card it does have three different logos on it. And that would make sense considering the three hitchhiking ghosts. I’m told there will be an update to the app soon to correct the issues, so whenever that happens I’ll head back to DL and do an addendum video. Thanks!
Next time you go, might I tag along? I’m kicking myself that I didn’t splurge for the experience when it first came out. The Haunted Mansion is my most favoritest thing in all of Disneyland! If not, no biggie, I’ll just live vicariously through your videos. 🙂
