in Disney, Events, Theme Parks, Walt Disney World

The wonderful Spring event the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival is now in full swing at Walt Disney World and the festival keeps growing each year with more and more things to do and see. To make your topiary touring a little easier we have picked out our top 8 Disney topiaries not to miss during this years festival.

8. Sorcerer Mickey and Fantasia characters

This lovely vignette of Fantasia characters is one of the biggest topiary groups at the festival and features five different characters from the film. The group is led by Sorcerer Mickey and four of his broom friends. You can find this topiary next to the Journey Into Your Imagination attraction.

7. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Over in the Germany Pavilion, princess Snow White and her seven dwarfs are still delighting guests. Each character in this topiary has the new detailed face which makes the topiaries even more real life looking.

6. Bambi and friends

The Bambi, Flower and Thumper topiary scene is one of the most colorful ones at the Festival and you can find this friendship trio in the Canada Pavilion.

5. Winnie the Pooh and friends

Over in the UK Pavilion the lovable little bear Winnie the Pooh now greets you as soon as you walk into the pavilion together with his friends Eeyore, Piglet, Tigger and Rabbit. This topiary also has a selection of fun props like Winnie’s red balloon and a hunny pot.

4. Peter Pan, Captain Hook and the Crocodile

This is another classic but a good one. Peter Pan and Captain Hook are once again in full battle with the Peter Pan topiary being located way up high on the rooftop of a building in the UK Pavilion. At the same time the hungry crocodile is keeping his eye on Captain Hook.

3. Donald Duck and friends

This topiary scene is the first one you will spot when entering Epcot and is a rare one that actually changes every year. Daisy Duck, Donald Duck and his nephews Huey, Dewey and Louis are all out in full force at the entrance of the park. This topiary makes for some amazing pictures with the wonderful Spaceship Earth in the background.

2. Chip ‘n’ Dale

Another new topiary for this years Epcot Flower and Garden Festival is this cute Chip ‘n’ Dale picnic scene. Here the Imagineers have gone creative with both a water element and some fun props. You will spot this topiary on your way toward World Showcase.

1. Beauty and the Beast

Our top spot goes to this “Tale as old as time” topiary scene from the movie Beauty and the Beast in the France Pavilion. Belle, Beast, Cogsworth and Lumiere continues to greet guests in France and almost all of the topiaries now has the more advanced, detailed face. The flowers and wonderful fountains in France make this an incredibly charming spot and definitely one not to miss.
