I wondered whether this was promoting another Snow White Blu-ray, and turns out it is–
Only instead of the March and October releases, they’ve gone through the entire Diamond Collection, and are now planning a “Walt Disney Signature Collection” starting in Feb. ’16, with “Films inspired by Walt’s creative mind.” Hence the tone of the special.
(Whether this will eventually include live-action films, we have yet to find out.)
