the hat may not have been a great icon for the park, but it was infinitely better than having nothing more than an unthemed, ugly stage as the “view” up Hollywood Blvd.
Hello!!! Star Wars weekend is about to start. The stage is only temporary. If it was a perminent stage it would have had more perminent features such as being built into the ground for starters. Are you guys seriously that dense or just so eager to find something to complain about.
Thank god someone else realises that the stage is only temporary! Everyone is going out of their minds thinking its permanent, it’s not. Geez Disney just pulled down a 100+ feet tall hat and with big events such as Star Wars weekends and Frozen Summer Fun Live! Disney wouldn’t have been able to build a permanent stage which rises from the ground or God knows what in the short time period. C’mon guys we know Disney isn’t the fastest at building (lol) The Chineese Theatre looks beautiful by the way! Great to see a former icon clearly again! Can’t wait to see what’s in the works for DHS!!
Yeah, I hope it is temporary but really this means the stage will be up from May to September/October… Might as well be permanent. For star wars weekends, frozen summer fun, and villians unleashed.

I wonder if the hidden mickey on the map will now return?

It looks a lot like the horrible “stage” at California Adventure dance party junk. And that’s been there for years now.

With the hat removed, what will now be the park icon??
