The Walt Disney Birthplace is continuing restoration of Walt’s childhood home, now moving into the second phase of the project, asking for more crowd funding.
Their campaign has already raised over $20,000, but needs to reach $40,000 to complete Phase Two.
This second phase of the restoration process focuses on exterior beautification of the property, transforming the house with a restored front porch, white picket fence, rose gardens, trees, benches and recreations of the original doors on the home. Victorian restoration windows will be installed and along with tribute Paver Stones for those who have donated already.
Front doors are now being manufactured and are sponsored by Garner Holt Productions, creators of theme park animatronics.
