Adventures Through Inner Space
My favorite extinct Disney attraction is Horizons. I miss it so much!
I miss Mr. Toads Wild Ride.
20,000 leagues under the sea.. so fake, yet so fun.
Without a doubt the Adventurers Club.
I am sad my daughter will never get to here the sound of 500 1lb pigeons tap dancing – or the sound of 1 500lb pigeon tap dancing.
The ride I miss the most is Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride!!
My favorite ride was probably the Snow White’s Scary Adventures ride as i remember going on it when i was a kid but not very clearly and then to find it closed when i go back it being close it was very saddening. But hey we gotta make room for newer and bigger things! Can’t wait to see the future of the Disney Parks!
My favorite Disney memories come from my ride on “If You Had Wings”
I have to go with Horizons
Journey into imagination with figment
“If You Had Wings”

I still miss Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride!
20,000 leagues under the sea
Snow whites scary adventure
I think it would be 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. I remember that one at Disneyland when I was a child, so it brought back memories.
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
One of my favorite extinct attractions was actually Who Wants To Be a Millionaire, Play It! I enjoyed being in the crowd and feeling like I was really on the show!
ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter. Easily.
My favorite extinct attraction would be Horizons!
Easily 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Submarine Voyage. My brother and I LOVED that ride!
I miss mickeys toon town fair in the magic kingdom! The magic of meeting mickey in the town square theater isn’t the same as going to his house to meet him!

20,000 leagues under the sea!

I adored the Skyway between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland. :*(
Mr. Toads Wild Ride

I miss Disneyland’s PeopleMover. It gave the Tomorrowland section of the park a sense of constant motion and activity. Plus it was a great scenic tour.

20,000 leagues under the sea!!!
TTA. Nothing better than relaxing for a ride around tomorrowland.
The Haunted Mansion
Country Bear Jamboree
Snow Whites Scary Adventure and Studio Backlot Tour!!!!
Mr. Toad’s wild ride!
My favorite extinct Disney attraction is the original Journey Into Imagination. It was such an amazing concept and somehow managed to portray the incredibly abstract idea of imagination in a coherent and visually stunning way. The design work was impeccable and showed off everything that Imagineering was best at, the music was perfection, and the characters of Dreamfinder and Figment were some of the best created by Disney for a park, movie, or anything. The newer versions of the attraction just don’t hold a candle to the original and I hope that the attraction gets back on track sometime in the near future.
Mickey and Minnie’s houses! 🙁
Journey into Imagination!
Disneyland People Mover
Studio Back Lot Tour was awesome. I am glad I rode it before shut down.
The people mover from disneyland
Ninja turtles show at studios!!
Maelstrom, hands down. It’s the only attraction I remember that is now gone. I do miss Horizons, although I have only seen video of it.
I already miss Maelstrom in Norway:(
20,000 Leagues Under The Sea: Submarine Voyage! I remember riding it on my first trip to Walt Disney World, and was devestated when I found out it was gone on my next trip. Wish I could have attended the event, but it was way out of my price range. Hope to win! 🙂
Kitchen Kaberet! Veggie fruit veggie veggie fruit fruit..
The ride I miss the most is the People Mover:-(
I do miss Maelstrom. I was at Epcot just 2 weeks after it closed.
The World Showcase players need to come back. I loved those guys!
As much as I love the newer version of Star Tours, I do miss the original version.
20,000 Leagues Under The Sea
Mr toads wild ride
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea or Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride
Ok so I may have entered but saw this again and now think I’m gonna miss the Hollywood studios hat. That was iconic to me seeing as I only first went about 10 years ago. Will be missed but will look pretty awesome with the Chinese theatre down Hollywood blvd!
ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter! I only got to ride it a few times before they shut it down for Stitch.
The original journey into imagination.
Mr Toad’s Wild Ride!
The old Imagination! pavilion.
Mickey Mouse clubhouse
“Journey into Imagination” – the original attraction.
I really miss Dreamflight
Great looking bands. The Maelstrom was my favorite. River Country is second.
If I’m limited to only one, it will have to be 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea.
Maelstrom is easily number one. Then it would have to be the backlot tour both were the best parts of the original parks before all the change and what each one was about. The different cultures of the world. Then the back stage of Hollywood movie sets.
I miss the Lion King Puppet ahow that was in the Magic Kingdom.
I’ve got a couple of favorite extinct attractions, If You Had Wings because I grew up in an airline family and with Eastern Airlines sponsoring it, I thought it was the coolest ride in the world. The other is 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. That sub seemed SO REAL! An honorable mention would have to be Mickey Mouse Review.
My favourite past Disney attraction would have to be River Country. So sad that it’s just been left abandoned.
My favorite Disney attraction is Space Mountain, while its a classic, its great!!!
Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride I miss it! But I also wanted to give a mention to a show I miss Tarzan Rocks! from DAK.
DLAND – 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
DWorld – Horizons, Maelstrom, Journey into Imagination w/ Dreamfinder and Figment!
Mickey Mouse Review.
Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride.
I miss that crazy frog!
The Timekeeper, hands down. Me and my family STILL quote this attraction from time to time.
“In front of you are lean rails. Pleaee do not sit on the lean rails, because they’re there… for you to lean on.”
“Raising neutrino shield!”
“The Big Apple. New York, New York. City of 10 Million dreams… and one parking space.”
I miss a lot of them but the one I miss the most is from my childhood, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. I wish I could take my own children on it today.
I miss the people mover at Disneyland park
I will go with ET: Alien Encounter…so disappointed when it became a Stitch attraction (and I like Stitch…just don’t think ti works well).
Wonders of Life.
I miss Body Wars in Epcot. Thought it was fun to go inside a body.
The original backlot tour at DHS with the houses.
Has to be maelstrom!! As old is that ride was, it was an EPCOT must do!
Snow White Scary Adventure.
TOONTOWN….my kids would have loved it. Can’t wait to go to DLand in April so that they can see it!!
Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride and Kitchen Kabaret.
Mr toads wild ride I loved that ride
I will miss Maelstrom!
Oddly enough, the Skyway! It was old fashioned, but gave unique views & perspectives on MK, not to mention get across half the park while relaxing and enjoying the view! Would have loved to watch the fireworks from it, if it was permitted.
My favorite extinct Disney attraction would be Alien Encounter @ Magic Kingdom. This ride offered a level of fear & fun for my brothers and I as kids. We were not pleased with the more-child friendly makeover, even though Stitch is a great character!
I miss the Magic Kingdom’s skyway that traveled between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland, if you can call that an attraction!!!
Not sure if it counts, but I miss the old Test Track!! Such a memorable ride that got such a forgettable facelift.
The original Journey into Imagination featuring Dreamfinder
Journey into Imagination. Such a loss!
I really miss the Country Bears at Disneyland in Anaheim
Horizons!!! It was just the best!!!
I miss Mr. Toads Wild Ride
Disneyland – The Main Street Electrical Parade, America Sings, Disney Afternoon Avenue and Disney Afternoon – Live!, Fantasyland Theatre (Beauty and the Beast, Snow White), Country Bear Jamboree, Golden Horseshoe Revue, The “Pirate Coin Stamper” and the Pieces of Eight Shop, and most of all Goofy’s Bounce House.
The carousel of Tomorrow
i miss 20,000 Leagues it was my favorite ride from my first ever visit to WDW as a child!
I LOVED the Skyway when I was a kid…so fun to get that perspective, and it made my heart go a bit since we were so high!
20,000 leagues under the sea loved that ride felt like you were really under deap water. 🙂
ALIEN ENCOUNTER! Even though it didn’t fit in at MK, it would have been perfect at DHS.
Alien Encounter because I never got to see it. Was at Disney World shortly before it opened and the next time I was there was shortly after it closed.
PeopleMover in Disneyland
Loved the skyway ride…
Maelstrom and Snow White’s Scary Adventures

Mr Toads wild ride
I liked 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
MR. TOad’S Wild ride
Snow Whites Scary Adventures
My kids and I miss Maelstrom!! We were lucky enough to ride it the weekend before it closed!! I realize this only says one extinct attraction but me and my kids will also miss The Back lot Tour at Disney’s Hollywood Studios bcz it gave people a chance to see real movie props and behind the scenes!!!

Mr. Toads wild ride

Of course I will miss Maelstrom.
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea!
Studio Backlot Tour at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Body wars,I have such fond memories my boys were 7+5 they loved that ride.
Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, Snow White’s Scary Adventures & Delta Dreamflight
I miss If You Had Wings.
the people mover and skyway to Fantasyland at Disneyland.
I miss Horizons over in EPCOT and 20,00 Leagues Undersea voyage in Magic Kingdon
Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride

20,000 leagues bc every single time I ever went (every few months) my entire childhood it was broken or closed for refurb until it finally went away for good and I’ve always been totally infatuated with it!!
People Mover at Disneyland. People Mover is one of my sons favorite rides when visiting Magic Kingdom
Country Bear Jamboree at Disneyland
I miss the live Lion King puppet show that Phihar Magic is at now!
Mr. Toads Wild Ride!
I miss the Spectromagic Parade.
I miss horizon the most.
Mickey Mouse Revue and Magic Journeys in the Fantasyland Theater. I loved those shows as a child.
I always wanted to ride Mr. Toads Wild Ride.
mr. toad wilds ride!
Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
Does the original Journey Into Indication with Dreamfinder count? If not, the Mike Fink keelboats.
Obviously that should be imagination, not indication.
20,000 leagues under the sea! One of my favorites
SkyWay at Disneyland
The Skyway at WDW
The one that I miss the most is Horizons. My mother and I rode through it many times in our 15 visits to WDW together, and she always loved the scent of orange at the orange grove scene. She would always say that she wished she could find air freshener for the house that smelled like that. I lost mom to cancer 4 years ago now, and just returned to WDW for the first time since her passing this past November. I was so surprised to ride Soaring and smell that wonderful memory of the orange grove again. Not only did I know I was back at Disney after many years, but I also for a brief time felt like I was back with my mom.
Snow White Ride
People Mover in Disneyland. Rocket Rods…why did you have to stink so much and take away a perfectly good transportation system of the future?!?!
i miss the old barnstormer with the little planes
2,000 leagues under the sea, more current backlot tour
I miss Spectromagic a whole lot
I miss Mickey and minnies houses…..
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and Mr. Toad’s Wile Ride! I love both attractions so much at Disney.
Tapestry of Nations
It’s a Small World!!!
I would have to say “ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter”
Wonders of Life (Body Wars)
My favorite ride is the peter pan ride
Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride. Rode it 26 years ago and loved it. Sorry I never got to ride it again.
20,00 Leagues Undersea voyage in Magic Kingdon
Studio Backlot Tour
My favorite extinct ride has to be the Studio Backlot Tour. It was fun seeing tons of movie props and experiencing special effects first hand, like Catastrophe Canyon
wow that is hard …20,000 or maybe mr toad’s wild ride, horizons….I guess I choose 20,000 leagues under the sea.
snow whites scary adventure
Mr. Toads wild ride would have to be my favorite that’s gone.
Snow White’s Scary Adventures
Definitely Horizons…..the prototypical EPCOT Center attraction.
Peoplemover at Disneyland. I went to Disney World recently and loved it so much, I went on it twice. It’s sad to see nothing up on that platform at Disneyland.
Horizon and Mr Toads Wild Ride
I love ” it a small world” ride! My favorite rides since I was little.

Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover – even though I will probably always call it the Wedway Peoplemover!
I probably miss Body Wars the most… I loved that dumb ride.
The haunted manson 🙂
Always was one of my family’s favorites!
Horizons, of course!
I miss Skyway to Tomorrowland !!
The classic Snow White’s Scary Adventure ride at WDW.
Figment of your imagination!!!
Never been there sence I was baby baby so how many people can go? I just want my hole family too go.
Country Bear Jamboree at Disneyland!
Mr toads Wild Ride
I cannot express just how much I miss “Alien Encounter”. One of the greatest theme park experiences I’ve ever had. I pray to Skippy every time I pass by “Stitch’s Great Escape”.
Country Bears Jamboree at Disneyland
Skyway to Tomorrowland
Old world of motion/transportation which is where test track in now.
Body wars !
The was no better ride than the Sky Way!
Still Remember my first experience at DisneyWorld, The “IF YOU HAD WINGS” ride
country bear jamboree
Mine Train Through Nature’s Wonderland!
Hands down, Mr Toad’s Wild Ride! My wife really misses the Snow White dark ride at WDW but we’re about to go back in 2015 and hopefully she’ll love the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train as much as she loved the old Snow White ride!
The People Movers!!!
In 1992 during their first visit to Disney World we took our then 8 and 6 year old sons to River Country and enjoyed the water slide a bit too much – it became known as the time Mom almost drowned the family, as the swimming ability of father and sons was less than adequate for the depth and current at the bottom of the slide. Sorry that the guys can’t go there as adults and see what it really was like.
I miss Discovery Island. We went to Disney World on out honeymoon 37 1/2 years ago and explored the island. I would love to see it again.
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea!!
One of the rides I miss the most is Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride..it was classic.
Really miss Mr. Roads Wild Ride. Was always one of my favorites.
Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride!
Journey Into Imagination & Figment
For me, it has to be the ExtraTERRORestrial alien encounter… It’s the only attraction in which I’ve been truely scared… The darkness and loud noises of the alien… Amazing
my favorite extinct attraction is Adventure through Inner Space at Disneyland.
20,000 Leagues was so unique.
my favorite extinct attraction is Mr Toad’s Wild Ride with “If You Had Wings” being a close second.
River Country was a fun place to go for a fun outdoor slower paced family time.
Alien Encounter, did it once as a child and was terrified in an awesome way. Wish I could revisit that today.
It is 20,000 League Under The Ses
My favorite attraction has to be Pirates of the Caribbean rise at Disney World, you don’t know how many times I went on that ride…..I went on it twice, THAT ONLY BECAUSE OF THE LINES WERE TAKING FOREVER!!
It is a tie between space mountain and star wars ride.
I miss Mr Toad’s Wild Ride the most. I wish I could have taken my daughter on it. She would have loved it!
ExtraTERRORestrial alien ruined my childhood but in a way I wouldve wanted to experience it as a grown up, it was so real to me. Also, I loved when the Playhouse Disney show was around and the Backlot tour as well.
Probably the Backlot Tour 🙂 I love behind the scenes stuff ^_^
20K! Worked there and loved the cheesyness!
My favorite is the old version of Star tours and captain EO in California
Favorite ride is original Journey Into Imagination, but having said that, it’s like picking a favorite child or pet. Just so many great rides and sites to choose from, but most of all it’s that ‘magic feeling’ you can only find at Disney!
I miss Snow White’s Scary Adventures!
I loved and miss 20,000 leagues under the sea.
Captain EO and Skybuckets.
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea….the first ride I ever was on!
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea! Miss that one…
Delta Dreamflight. It is the one ride I remember from my first trip in 1993.
20,000 leagues under the sea.
Probably my favorite extinct attraction would be The Extra-TERRORestrial Alien Encounter from 1994/5-2003. Although I’d enjoyed Horizons, whenever I think of Alien Encounter, I feel that the intensity of the plot and the atmosphere of being trapped inside a chair where a carnivorous alien, who escape from the teleportation pod and is on the loose, could really make my heart beat in less than a millisecond. And even though Stitch is….ok…Alien Encounter is one of those nostalgic attraction that keeps me wanted to go back for more. Just sayin’! 🙂
I miss the Country Bear Jamboree at Disneyland.
I miss Snow White’s Scary Adventure! I also miss River Country!
My favorite ride was Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride!!!
Mr. toads wild ride. I really wish they brought it back.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame Musical in Hollywood Studios (MGM as it was back then!)
It was such a fantastic show, and the singers were always perfect. I re-watch my old holiday videos of it. And just sorely wish it hadn’t gone away. Lights Motors Action has nothing on what this musical had. The theatre was ALWAYS packed because it was just so amazing. Much missed, but forever inspired by it!
i miss the original Journey into Imagination. I still sing the “imagination” song.
Food Rocks. May not be a popular attraction to miss, but it was my favorite as a child and I do miss it a lot.
I miss River Country the most. My mom and I would go there all the time when I was little and spend the day doing nothing. Some of my favorite memories are at Rover Country with my Mom.
I miss the attraction Body Wars! So sad it closed. Wish they’d do something similar.
My favorite was Snow White’s Scary Adventures. I get so sad when I pass where it was in MK. When I was little my dad and I would ride it and look for the evil queen together.
body Wars At EpcOT
came close but they closed it down for gradnight and that was Journey Through Inner Space! Always wanted to ride it!
I miss BACKSTAGE PASS and the recently removed BACKLOT TOUR. I feel like that was what Hollywood studios (MGM) was about.
Old school Journey into the Imagination. I have fuzzy memories of it as a child and would love to see it the way it was.
Mine would be the Walt Disney World verison of Mr Toad’s Wild Ride. Lots of memories from that ride.
Snow Whites Scary Adventure
I have fond memories of the 2nd floor of Journeys into Imagination. There were all sorts of imaginative activities for both children and adults. Lots of the stuff is still there, sitting unused along with the rest of the 2nd floor.
Mission to Mars
My most missed ride would have to be 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
I can’t really say Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea was my favorite ride. But I miss it the most, it was just so visually stunning.
I miss the Backlot Tour already
I would have to say Snow White’s Scary Adventure just because it is the first ride I remember going on on my first visit to Disney World in 2000. I look forward to my first ride on the Mine Train though, so I hope it will bring back those same memories! <3
Mr. Toads Wild ride is definetly the one I miss the most
My favorite extinct DisneyWorld attraction is Cranium Command. It was a great show. I feel so bad that it is still there, abandoned and collecting dust.
Studio Backlot tour in Hollywood Studios and Snow White’s scary adventure. Both bring up fond memories when I used to go with family when I was younger.
I mean….20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
mr Toads wild ride. I also miss a working Yeti in expedition Everest!
Still technically Friday in California right now! Hello.
I’m west coast time… still 12/12 here hopefully… I miss Adventures Thru Inner Space at Disneyland.
I’m really going to miss Maelstrom.
