Comments for PHOTOS: A long, dark look at Diagon Alley reveals sparkling Harry Potter magic at night in new Universal Orlando land

Awesome photos! Love the one with the dragon and fireworks in the same shot.

  2. Ricky, Diagon Alley looks AWESOME at night but please, please, please clean your lenses before shooting!! 🙂

Oh trust me – I’m aware of the nastiness in some of these shots. The sad thing is I did clean the heck out of my lens. The artifacts are from the cheap wide angle lens add-on I was using to shoot these. It screws on top of my kit lens. Not the best solution around. Needless to say, I will be investing in a better lens as soon as possible.

Yes indeed Awesome photos !! You could make some extra cash selling your camera shots. Thank you so much for the coverage

Ricky, great coverage of this new land. Do you think Disney will start stepping it up in creating great interactive areas and new attractions like this? The speed aof universal doing these areas and great world class attractions is blowing Disney away.

I don’t think Disney will directly respond to Diagon Alley. They are still millions of visitors ahead every year and will just keep doing what they do. I’m sure they have tremendous Star Wars plans in the works, but not for several years.

    Thank you!
    Thank you!
Great job covering as much as humanly possible.
Most sites choose to focus on Disney or Universal but you realize the dynamic between the two and how important it is to the theme park industry and those of us who are deciding where to spend our money on our next Orlando trip.
    It is appreciated.

  6. Fascinating photos! I recently visited Diagon Alley and had more fun than I could ever imagine! It just makes you feel so amazing and magical the second you enter Diagon Alley! I really enjoyed looking at these great pictures! Nice work! 😀
