If Universal Orlando would someday think of closing down Barney and Curious George attractions both at the Woody Woodpecker’s KidZone section at Universal Studios Florida and then replace them into a theme zone that would be based on My Little Pony franchise and as well as its TV show “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic”, that would be great to have My Little Pony at Universal to appeal to young female guest (if they get the rights to MLP from Hasbro that is). That way, it would be so much competitive to Disney Princess characters for Disney theme parks, think about it. Plus, if that happens, the MLP-themed land would have a fan-event that would be occurred during every summer nights like from June to August and would be aimed towards teen and adult fans of “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” TV show (Bronies and Pagasisters) despite it currently aims towards primarily for little girls as usual. Would that be great or what?
I personally do not get the appeal of My Little Pony but it is EXACTLY the kind of thing that Universal needs. Bright colors. Known characters. Lots of opportunity to create castles and magical things that little girls love. Bronies (adult males who love My Little Pony) would be in Heaven too as well as all the Gen-Xers who grew up on the original. It would be a slam-dunk surefire hit.
I also think it would be great theming for a water park too. All the cartoony environments lend themselves to slides and things really well. And the ponies could dot the landscape as statues along the path of the slides and waterways. Could be cool…especially with the Sea Ponies too.
Good idea with a water park idea. It would be at Wet ‘n Wild water park at Orlando. But how come those Sea Ponies never use for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic?
No. They don’t want My Little Pony because they don’t want the park invaded by legions of hygiene-challenged aspies in their forties leering at children.
Oh, wait a minute. I see what you mean. But don’t worry about that because that won’t ever happen at all as long they know is not legal to leering at kids.
My little Ponies just to appeal to females? Don’t get me wrong I grew up watching my little pony the original but I loved TMNT and He-Man more. Personally making an attraction just to appeal to one particular sex is completely insulting and outdated. Of course these days My Little Pony is loved more by older creepy men I don’t think we really need “bronies” at a theme park.

Why not? Universal should need attractions aimed towards females, particularly little girls with MLP.

What
Because they know that creepy pedo “bronies” are also aimed at “little girls”, and don’t want to have to deal with the liability.
What
No. They don’t want My Little Pony because they don’t want the park invaded by legions of hygiene-challenged aspies in their forties leering at children.

That brand new Harry Potter land at Universal feels like a Disney park in my opinion.

I bet we would have Bronies to come to Universal to MLP land if it exists despite it would be aimed towards young females of all ages.
