Looks amazing! curious if it’s buffet style or was that just for the event to try things? Hoping they have alfredo pasta, since I’m simple lol. That fresh pasta and bread looks amazing! Definitely need to try it out next time I’m at universal and have some extra money to spend.Great review as usual Ricky! 🙂
Disappointed. No flavor. Everything was very bland and tasteless. I had eggplant parm and pasta. Eggplant was too thin and all I tasted was soggy breading. No flavor. The pasta was cooked perfectly but the sauce had zero flavor. I’m Italian and we all LOVE Italian food, so we were looking forward to this place opening. Tonight was 100.00 disappointment. Out of the 4 of us not one of us enjoyed our food. Chicken parm had no flavor. Pulled mozzarella was tough and chewy. So sad about this as we are season pass holders and would eat here every visit is we enjoyed it. Very very disappointing.
Really surprising to hear that because I’ve eaten there three times this week (including tonight) and had nothing but stellar food all the way around. Likewise, everyone I have talked to that has eaten there shared the same feelings. It sounds like you really had a bad lot. Did you send the food back and get something else? They are new and will certainly go through some growing pains, but this is the first I’ve heard of a bad experience there.

The buffet was only for the press event. It’s table service.

Would you reccomend Vivo over Mama Dellas over at Portofino?
Andrew
I would have to say it is much better than any other Italian place I’ve eaten in Orlando. Well done vivo!

Tough call. Both are delicious! But I think I prefer Vivo.
