Comments for “Frozen” pre-parade debuts at Disneyland letting guests see Anna, Elsa, and Olaf without long lines

I was totally there yesterday to see the float. It makes me excited to see what else Disneyland is going to do with Frozen.

Is this on before both shows of Mickey’s parade? We just saw the 6:30 show and Frozen was not there at all.

I’m going to guess that the Frozen float only appears in the first parade because they probably have to close the line for Anna and Elsa during the parade. That way there’s only one Elsa and one Anna running around. My sister, who was a castmember for Disneyworld for a time, said all four of the parks collaborate on the time of parades for Mickey to ensure that Mickey only appears to be in one place at a time. Supposedly, that’s one of the reasons why they closed down the Animal Kingdom parade.

Again, I don’t know the real reason why Elsa and Anna didn’t appear in the second parade. That’s just my best guess.

What I mean is I’m guessing Disney doesn’t want to have two sets of Anna and Elsa running around at the same time (what would the kids think if they just got done meeting Anna and Elsa at their spot in Fantasyland and then saw them in the parade), but they also don’t want to have to close the line twice a day. Again, just an assumption.
