Much mystery has surrounded this year’s Walt Disney Animation Studios release, “Big Hero 6” with only a few glimpses shown off at special events so far. But today Disney has revealed a look at Hiro Hamada and Baymax, two of the film’s lead characters that audiences will get to know when the movie hits theaters on Nov. 7, 2014.
It’s the 54th movie from Walt Disney Animation Studios, also joining forces with Marvel for the first time, based on a rather obscure Marvel comic.
The film is set in the fictional city of San Fransokyo – a mash-up of San Francisco and Tokyo.
Brilliant robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada finds himself in the grips of a criminal plot that threatens to destroy the fast-paced, high-tech city of San Fransokyo. With the help of his closest companion, a robot named Baymax, Hiro joins forces with a reluctant team of first-time crime fighters on a mission to save their city.
The first trailer for the film will be released this week. The voice cast has not yet been announced.
