This week LEGOLAND California became more awesome as the theme park added The LEGO Movie Experience featuring real sets from the smash hit film.
Located on a LEGO soundstage, actual movie sets from the (spoiler alert!) last act of the film are on display allowing guests to wander freely and explore all the tiny details brick-by-brick.
In attendance at the debut of the experience was aActor Jadon Sand, who plays “Finn” and worked alongside Will Ferrell in “The LEGO Movie.” “I’m a big fan of LEGOLAND California so having the opportunity to come here and be the one to officially open THE LEGO MOVIE EXPERIENCE to you all is a big honor. I actually feel like I’m back on the set of the movie…this is awesome!” said Sand.

THE LEGO Movie Experience is made up of more than 1,200 LEGO models, which are in turn made of more than three million LEGO bricks. Ten Model Builders spent more than 2,000 hours assembling the creations. Included are Bricksburg, Middle Zealand, Old West, Cloud Cuckooland and Octane Tower.
Characters Emmet and Wyldstyle are also available to meet in the park.
