I really enjoyed this movie and I’m really glad it spent more time on Asgard and other realms instead of earth, but I was really disappointed that the Warriors Three and Sif didn’t get more screen time. Malekith was extremely one-dimensional and I wish they had developed that character a bit more. Also, I felt that the first film had a lot more in terms of emotional resonance (Thor and Loki’s relationship) etc. Overall, it was a very fun and comic-booky good time, but I felt the technobabble and the setup got out of hand.

I agree. The movie was great, though I too was not a fan of the villain.

      I actually love Darcy.

I really enjoyed it, despite the villain being barely fleshed out and his goal being rather been-there-done-that. The movie soars on the performances of its leads, its action, and humor.

Darcy is one of the best things in the movie. She got to help save the world, got Eric out of prison and was livelier than Jane who spent most of the movie in a coma
