“The following motion picture has not been approved for all audiences by The Walt Disney Company.” That’s how the trailer for “Escape from Tomorrow” fittingly begins, followed by a montage of black-and-white images that are guaranteed to make any Disney fan say, “Huh?!”
The film was shot without Disney’s permission at Walt Disney World and Disneyland theme parks, including the Magic Kingdom and Epcot, and features surreal scenes and adult situations that one would definitely not associate with the Mouse house. And somehow Disney hasn’t shut it down, as it’s headed to theaters next month.
