VIDEO: “Escape from Tomorrow” trailer offers twisted view of Walt Disney World and Disneyland

“The following motion picture has not been approved for all audiences by The Walt Disney Company.” That’s how the trailer for “Escape from Tomorrow” fittingly begins, followed by a montage of black-and-white images that are guaranteed to make any Disney fan say, “Huh?!”

The film was shot without Disney’s permission at Walt Disney World and Disneyland theme parks, including the Magic Kingdom and Epcot, and features surreal scenes and adult situations that one would definitely not associate with the Mouse house. And somehow Disney hasn’t shut it down, as it’s headed to theaters next month.

Interesting, are there any updates on the Kingdom Keepers movie? My oldest daughter loves those books and I thought we heard they were making movies out of them? Thanks.

Yes, I love those books and hope there will be a movie. It would be loved by Disney fans everywhere. It puts Disney into a whole new perspective that brings so much more magic and wonder to the parks and brings beloved characters to life with such personality unable to be seen in their movies.

Wth…that was too creepy. And honestly would make me not want to go to Disney if I hadnt been there before.

I am glad that the big “D” hasn’t shut this down. It certainly is something that would be interesting to watch. Certainly does look pretty weird.

Looks cheap with garbage effects. Disney knows that it will go away on its own.
