Great trip report! Even though I’m a California native, I still enjoy reading reviews about how magical just normal, non-special event days at Disneyland can be.

Loved reading your post especially in conjunction with all the photos. Well done! If you don’t mind my asking, what type of camera/lense were you using for your days in the parks?

I use a Canon T2i with its included lens. Nothing too fancy. Glad you enjoyed the post! More to come soon.

You did not get into club 33, did you!?

I think Club 33 is closed for renovations now.

It’s open for the rest of 2013.

Ricky, Is the rumor true that the Court of Angels will be closing on Sep 28th to make way for a new addition to Club 33??? Oh I sure hope not, that has been a traditional spot with such awesome memories for generations in my family. It would break my heart to see something so beautiful within the park be taken away or reconstructed for the benefit of club members only.

The details are still sketchy. Even the staff at Club 33 hadn’t received the official word yet as of a couple weeks ago. Apparently Imagineer Kim Irvine is in charge of the refresh and they were able to confirm most of the reported changes. Unless plans change, the Court of Angels will likely be different when the Club reopens. I’m not sure if it will disappear completely or just be altered.

As a fairly newcomer to the site, this is my first time seeing this ParkSpotting feature and I really enjoyed it. Like you, I live in Florida so I’ve only ever been to Disney World and I really enjoy seeing the differences between our park and the original.

I hope that the Disney people begin to sprinkle more Marvel into the Florida parks soon. I’m really jealous that Disneyland gets to have that cool Stark Industries feature. It would be so perfect here at Epcot!

The Boysen Apple Freeze is my favorite version if the three apple freezes!

One can acquire corn in disneyland near the Matterhorn. The same booth that sells turkey legs and chimichangas.

Enjoyed this about the two parks!! We only have been to Disneyworld, many times and all the Disney Parks in Florida. . Plan on going to both parks in one day, because we are staying in Palm Desert and driving over for the day. I’m sure it will be a long day, but we looking forward to seeing both parks. We are from Michigan and traveling in a RV. Maybe some day we will get back to California, so much to see!
