I believe Universal is doing the right thing. The “movie studio lot” look worked for a while, but it’s been long gone in many parts of the park, so they might as well go all out. They should create these “mini-lands” wherever they can and enhance Guest immersion just like Disney has always done and like they have themselves at IoA.
The Android’s Dungeon IS NOT an actual store that guests will be able to experience. It is a fake storefront facade that hides a hallway to the main restaurant area that is adjacent to the restrooms.
If that’s true then it’s a missed opportunity. It seems like the Kwik-E-Mart should be converted to an actual convenience store, leaving the merchandise for The Android’s Dungeon.
Is it just me or is this just a little late to the game? I wonder if many of the kids would even know who the Simpson characters are. Seems like a great idea overall, just in the 90’s at the height of it’s popularity. Also, I know a lot of parents kept their kids away from the show due to it’s “edginess” so I’m wondering how welcome it will be as a location within a theme park.

Doesn’t this sort of leave MIB isolated by itself a bit at the back of the park without being in a “land” as such.
Sean
MIB already kinda was that way since Simpsons came along anyway.

I really hope men in black doesn’t disappear!
But Universal is going to look amazing, it has needed a bit of an update to match IOA!

People actually like the MIB Ride. I think it’s the Worst attraction in all of Universal.

It’s one of my family’s favourite!

Slight correction to what you guys published:
