One of the hottest giveaways at E3 and the San Diego Comic-Con this year were Oswald the Lucky Rabbit ear hats, available in limited quantities for a limited time, leaving Disney fans around the world jealous of those who managed to snag a pair or two. Fortunately today, after much fan demand, Disney has finally announced that the Oswald ears are indeed headed to the theme parks.

A Disney Parks version of the previous hats, which were given out in promotion of the upcoming “Epic Mickey 2” video game, will be hitting store shelves at Walt Disney World and Disneyland in “late October/early November.” They’ll have a different logo than the promotional versions, minus the “Epic Mickey” design, instead featuring text reading “Oswald the Lucky Rabbit” in a traditional Disney style.

Back in July, at the San Diego Comic-Con, “Epic Mickey” creator Warren Spector, Walt Disney Archivist Becky Cline, and other panelists proudly wore their hats during a special presentation:

Soon all Disney fans will have a chance to purchase these highly-coveted ears, along with some other new Oswald merchandise.
