Ya know…there is real magic in this. Special magic. Magic Walt would have absolutely loved. I remember the first time I saw the characters talking during one of those stage things in front of the castle…I couldn’t believe my eyes…yet there they were…touched by a little of Tinkerbell’s Pixie Dust no doubt and actually talkin’, singin’, and laughin’… I figured it was only a matter of time before Mickey was complementin’ a young whippersnapper on his Tigger or Buzz Lightyear costume… And, I tell ya, it kinda warms the heart a little that I’ve lived to see this…
It’s seems that over my entire lifetime…there’s been more than a little magic provided by this wonderful man named Walt Disney… Magic that kinda sticks with ya…like around Halloween when he would tell us, once again, the tale once again of Ichabod Crane…or at Christmastime when Jiminy would sing From All Of Us To All Of You… And…well, gosh, everyday when we got home from school…my heart still jumps a beat every time I hear that wonderful Mickey Mouse Club March…
I remember way, way back…back to the days when Walt was tellin’ us about his latest and greatest dream…
a place that was actually bein’ built…a wonderful place…far, far away…a place called Disneyland.
One of the thrills of my life was that day we set out along Route 66 for the long, long ride across the Country to actually visit this wonderful, wonderful place… I was just a young whippersnapper way back then…
And now, all these years later, I am preparing for yet another trip…to Walt Disney World. I’m not a young
whippersnapper anymore…at least not age wise…but thanks to the imagination of Walt Disney…and his great company…I’ve enjoyed a lifetime of being young at heart…of looking up and wishin’ on a star…cause my ol’
pal Jiminy told me once, long, long ago that it would work. And I plan on goin’ to Mickey’s Very Merry
Christmas Party in a week or so…oh, wow, I can’t believe how beautiful that castle is when it’s all lit up for the holidays…and the Osborne Spectacle of Lights…it’s just downright incredible. So, I’ll be enjoyin’ a cup of
Hot Chocolate and a Christmas Cookie…waitin’ for the parade to begin…and rememberin’ back…on a lifetime
of magic, and wonder, and happiness. Thank you, Mr. Disney…for making our lives. all of our lives, so much happier. I believe. Always have. Always will. God Bless you for sharing the magic with us…
I was just there between 10/16/11-10/24/11 and am sad that I didn’t get to “talk” with Mickey. I was there with my firends nad Godson to see them. I didn’t know about talking Mickey. Wish i could have seen it when I was there.

The test is limited to a VERY small number of people. Most will not meet talking Mickey at this point… but maybe some day in the future!
