I enjoyed it very much too, though I think Disney made a big mistake In banking on the film as a tentpole. The film is often described as “surprisingly good,” which tells me it belongs in the cult favorite / sleeper hit category. Sure, hindsight is 20/20, but imagine how different the film’s trajectory would have been with a more modest budget and a decent ad campaign.
