rst off I am an avid D&B customer, My family has been to multiple locations throughout the US and always had an awesome time. However, the Orlando facility leaves alot to be desired!!! I understand it’s opening week and it will take some time to work the bugs out but the service we received was horrible and can’t be just blamed on “opening week” issues.
The visit started out at 4:30pm circling the small poorly planned parking lot for about 10-15 min before finding a space. The parking lot is only ground level and 1/3 of it is reserved for Valet at a charge of $5 (which I’m always leery of utilizing valet which was confirmed why I don’t do it later in the evening). Afterwards we met with a friend in the parking lot and proceeded into the establishment.
The place was packed when we walked in and stood in an extremely long line to have our power cards loaded with the coupons that were emailed to us (remember we go to D&B even chance we get), after about 30 min we finally made it through this line and we were ready for the kids to play games and the adults to relax. My husband found a high top table in the bar while we waited in line to have the cards loaded and so we ordered drinks, appetizers and food. Service was not only slow but I probably could have went to another restaurant ordered a meal ate it returned to D&B drove around for 15 min looking for a parking space and still would have beat the food to the table. I’m really not exaggerating it was sad. Our drinks would run dry for quite a while before we could flag someone down to get refills. After we ate we received our bills and we were double charged for muliple items an overcharge of $40 and so was our friend overcharge of $5.00. We finally got that straightened out and off to play games.
We played for a short time because the place was getting so full that you couldn’t get on any games without having to wait in line and the a/c either needs upgraded or turned on!!! It was so hot and so many people that it was cooler outside in the parking lot in July in Florida!!!
Here’s the kicker at 8:15p we left the building got to the parking garage and my friends car and two other vehicles are blocked in by a double parked car. I went and spoke to someone who worked there and they sent me to speak with valet. Valet stated that they parked the car there and would move it right away they had no other place to park it. We waited and waited and waited…one of the valets was looking in the window and under the taurus dbl parked and after asking him “what the hell are you doing” he stated that they couldn’t find the keys to the vehicle. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! We asked for the manager. We spoke with the Valet Mgr/Owner, two separate D&B managers, police officier, etc etc. We were told that a tow truck could not fit into the parking garage. The owner of the Taurus came out and was pissed they went home in a taxi got their spare keys and 3 1/2 hrs later were free to leave. D&B managers did not says Sorry, kiss my axx, nothing.
The entire staff were not trained nor prepared to handle running this facility. The building is poorly planned for space, parking and employees. I doubt we will be visiting this D&B again anytime soon even though it’s only 15 min away from home.

Firstly, would the parking lot have seemed poorly planned if you had found a spot immediately? Every customer is treated equally. What you are saying about standing in line, you obviously feels doesn’t apply to you!I agree totally about the slow service. I read on D&B website they have broken all records with this store, but definately need more kitchen and waiting staff that can move themselves!Overcharging is definately not acceptable anywhere, so agree there too. The air conditioning system is not suffiient and we were told it was to be upgraded within the next week or so. Poor judgement on the part of valet parking people to doublepark a car…are you kidding me?!! That’s totally unacceptable! Managers should definately have given some form of restitution…even if it as a $20 play card!Poor show, but will hopefully improve!
