The Force is returning to Orlando in 2012. After the hugely successful Star Wars Celebration V last year, it was announced today that Star Wars Celebration VI will be once again held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. The massive official Star Wars event will take place August 23-26, 2012, drawing tens of thousands of fans along with celebrity special guests for four days of intergalactic excitement.

Tickets to attend Star Wars Celebration VI are available now. Thursday, Friday, and Sunday Passes are $55, Saturday Passes are $65, Adult Four-Day Passes are $135, Kids Four-Day Passes are $54, and Kids One-Day Passes are $27. VIP tickets and details will be available later this year. Official Celebration hotels are available starting at $65 per night.

Of course, attendees will also be able to visit Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, which recently reopened as an all-new Star Wars ride at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

And when August 2012 rolls around, we’ll be there to once again cover every second of the adventure just as we did last year during Star Wars Celebration V. Take a look back at the celebrities, costumes, exhibits, merchandise, and, yes, Slave Leias that descended upon Orlando in 2010:

May the Force be with you, now and in 2012!
