How long will the extended Pirates sequence be a part of WOC? Is WOC going to be returned to it’s original show, with Hellfire/Firebird/A Night on Bald Mountain?
Disney hasn’t said if/when World of Color will return to the original sequences. There have been talks of Halloween and Christmas versions of World of Color since its debut last year. And there will also be a special July 4th version this holiday weekend. World of Color may be an ever-changing show with no reason to go back to where it was but continue to evolve over time.
With that said, it’s not known for sure either way.
