Just days after winning season 10 of American Idol, Scotty McCreery appeared before a crowd of screaming fans at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park in Walt Disney World. He arrived via motorcade down Hollywood Blvd., accompanied by Mickey Mouse.

After shaking hands and signing autographs for fans, McCreery appeared on stage in front of the American Idol Experience attraction and answered a few questions, both from Disney’s host as well as those submitted by park guests. Then McCreery treated the crowd to a performance of his new single, “I Love You This Big.”

Here is a full video recap of today’s special event, including Scotty McCreery arriving via motorcade, answering questions on stage, and singing his new song:

Of course, since singing is what American Idol is all about, here is a separate video of just Scotty McCreery singing “I Love You This Big” (with a short introduction):

Scotty McCreery joins in the tradition of American Idol winners visiting Disney’s American Idol Experience attraction. Every winner so far has made an appearance there, most at its grand opening in 2008, followed by Kris Allen in 2009 and Lee DeWyze in 2010. Allen similarly performed a song in front of the attraction on stage two years ago but DeWyze did not, only answering questions. Fans today were excited to witness the continuation of this new tradition with McCreery’s performance.
