As someone who HATED the non-Disneyesque Glow Fest, I’m excited for ElecTRONica. BUT, I still find it out of place if it’s anything more than just a seasonal promo. Considering how they’re doing such an expensive retrofit of DCA to look more like Vintage California (street cars, removal of mosaic and maliboomer, new entrance) then ANY sort of glow dance party looks out of place. The daytime decor looks awful and I miss the Sorcerer Mickey Statue.

Anyway, I’m glad Glowfest is gone but I’m not excited to think of Disney constantly messing with Hollywood area to have these late night dance parties promotions. This is Disneyland, not Magic Mountain.

this actually looks kinda cool quite an improvement from glowfest. i might actually have to spend the time to see that laser man that looks awsome.

Electronica is AWESOMOME!! True enough it is no necessarily an attraction for children, it IS great for teens and young adults! I believe thats who the movie was made for anyway. It is a nice clean alternative to a dance club. The kids are dancing, the adults are drinking, all are entertained by the light show and the amazing resemblance to the movie’s club scene! My husband and I had a great time! It is California Adventure, not Disneyland, and I am okay with that! Very greatful to Disney for catering to teens and young adults. We need to have fun too! Those who left the negative comments above I’m guessing are old and stuffy (no offense) but if you still had a little “swag” in your step, you would have appreciated the attraction. The DJ was awesome! I wouldn’t see a problem with Disney putting a sign up informing parents that the attraction is more appropriate for ages 13 and up. In closing, take your babies to Disneyland and get your Mickey Mouse on, then then take them back to the hotel, leave them with Grandma, then grab your teens, go to Electronica and get your party on!
