Hi Ricky, great review and nice photos – great that you mentioned the criticisms as well as the things you enjoyed. Unfortunately I’ll have to wait another few years before I get to sample – we got back to the UK 3 days before the opening…

Thanks for the review, Ricky! These new Epcot restaurants are exciting!

    Your margarita reviews are hilarious.

    Cheers –

Do you dress up for these kinds of events, or do you just go in typical unfashionable theme park clothing? There seem to be a lot of people in white shirts and suits.

Also, what was that guy doing with the scorpion?

    1. Ricky Brigante

This particular event was a nighttime cocktail party so more guests arrive dressed up than usual.

As for the scorpion… not entirely sure. 😉 It had something to do with the Mexican drinks.

I’m with you 100% on the margarita reviews, and I am a social drinker. I posted a quick review in the forums about my experience there.

FWIW, I believe authentic…as in real…MX food is pretty bland compared to American Mx or Tx-Mx which is even spicier. So, it stands to reason that if they’ve chosen legitimate authentic Mx cuisine, most Americans may find the new restaurant items a let down. Of course, the price is tough to swallow if you don’t like the food…

  6. Thanks a ton. In case you’re still speculating on why the number one city on earth is Amsterdam, you should check this out. Did you hear the thing they produced right there not too long ago? Do you view the snap shots? You must schedule your upcoming vacation to Amsterdam, it really is worth the cost.
