Mark Hamill has been confirmed to be among the celebrities appearing at the huge Star Wars Celebration V convention at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center from August 12 – 15, 2010.
Hamill is of course best known for portraying Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars trilogy. This will mark his first appearance at a Star Wars Celebration convention in the United States. Fans will have a chance to meet Hamill in person in the Celebration Autograph Hall on Friday and Saturday, with additional days still a possibility. He will also make an appearance on the Celebration Stage.
As if it wasn’t enough to feature Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Anthony Daniels (C3PO), and Star Wars creator George Lucas (with comedian Jon Stewart), and plenty of other special guests, Star Wars Celebration V is shaping up to be the most exciting gathering in this galaxy.
