Right outside the Mexico Pavilion in the World Showcase section of Epcot in Walt Disney World a margarita stand has done steady business for years. The drink booth has been a popular place for guests to indulge in some frozen margaritas and tequila shots.
Therefore it came as a big surprise when the La Cava del Tequila, which is the bar housed inside the Mexico Pavilion, suddenly announced on Twitter yesterday that it would be the margarita stand’s last day.

No immediate reason was given for the closure and I for one will miss the Strawberry, Mango and multi-colored Fiesta frozen margaritas. No word yet on what will replace the stand in that area, though guests can still order similar drinks inside the Mexico Pavilion.
