A major transportation change begins at Disneyland Resort next month. The new procedure will impact hotel guests who rely on shuttle buses to travel to and from Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and the Downtown Disney District.

Beginning Monday, November 2, Good Neighbor and third-party hotel shuttle buses will no longer drop off and pick up Southern California Disney Park guests from the current stop at the South Harbor Boulevard entrance near the Esplanade.

The new drop-off and pick-up location for Good Neighbor and third-party hotel shuttles is on the west side of Downtown Drive, near the Disneyland Hotel valet loop. This bus stop, just steps away from the Lululemon store in the Downtown Disney District, is where rideshares and the Toy Story Parking Area shuttles currently drop off and pick up Disneyland Resort guests.

Sunday, November 1, is the final day shuttle buses will drop off and pick up Disneyland Resort guests at the South Harbor Boulevard stop near the Esplanade, between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

Why is Disney Making This Change?

Disneyland Resort is shifting the drop-off and pick-up spot for Good Neighbor and third-party hotel shuttle buses because of construction on the eastern side of the Esplanade between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Disney recently demolished several ticket booths in this area to make way for a pedestrian bridge leading to a new parking and transportation hub that is currently under construction.

The new parking structure and transportation hub will feature approximately 6,000 parking spaces, over 300 electric vehicle charging stations, a security office, and a dedicated zone for rideshares and shuttles. As part of the DisneylandForward expansion project, this development will support increased traffic to Disneyland Resort when it opens several new experiences, including the reimagined Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park and the Coco (2017) and Avatar (2009) attractions in development at Disney California Adventure Park.

Our familia is counting on us to remember them 🎸 The cuento of the Coco-themed attraction coming to Disney California Adventure ✨
