Credit: DisneyWalt Disney World has officially confirmed that Disney After Hours will return in 2027, giving guests another opportunity to stay inside the theme parks well after regular operating hours end.
The announcement includes a lengthy schedule spanning three parks, along with event hours, expected attractions, and ticket information. Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios will all participate.
Unfortunately, the return doesn’t come with the same pricing guests saw in 2026.
Guests who attended last year will find higher starting prices at all three parks, while Magic Kingdom tickets will climb beyond $200 on select nights.
Here’s what fans need to know before buying.
The Numbers Could Catch Guests Off Guard
Disney After Hours has never been a cheap add-on, and the 2027 pricing continues moving higher.
The biggest numbers come from Magic Kingdom. In 2026, After Hours tickets at the park ranged from $175 to $199 per guest. In 2027, that range increases to $189-$209, depending on the date.
That means the cheapest Magic Kingdom ticket increases by $14, or 8%. At the upper end, the price rises another $10, from $199 to $209, an increase of about 5%.
EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios also have higher starting prices.
In 2026, After Hours tickets started at $155 at both parks. In 2027, the cheapest tickets at EPCOT and Hollywood Studios will cost $159. Hollywood Studios tickets can reach $199, while EPCOT tops out at $189.
Magic Kingdom’s maximum creates another eye-opening scenario. Four adults paying $209 each would spend $836 before tax. Once taxes are factored in, a family or group of four is approaching $900 for one evening.
Paying nearly $900 for a few hours inside Magic Kingdom sounds pretty wild, even with the lower crowds and shorter waits that make After Hours attractive.
And unfortunately, this isn’t happening in isolation.
A 2027 Disney Vacation Is Already Getting More Expensive
Regular theme park admission is also reaching new levels in 2027.
Based on pricing released through October 2027, one-day adult tickets currently reach $219 at Magic Kingdom, $214 at EPCOT, $209 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and $189 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The lowest prices remain at $139 for Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, $129 for EPCOT, and $119 for Animal Kingdom during the currently available period.
Those prices vary by date, with some of the more expensive dates pushing guests considerably closer to those maximums.
Then there are the other pieces of a Disney vacation. Resort stays can add hundreds of dollars per night, while Lightning Lane purchases create an additional expense for guests hoping to reduce wait times during regular park hours. Those costs will remain important to watch as Disney moves deeper into 2027.
For After Hours fans, though, the calendar is already set.
Disney Is Bringing After Hours Back in a Big Way
Magic Kingdom will host Disney After Hours on January 11 and 18; February 1, 8, 15, and 22; March 4, 8, and 15; April 5, 12, and 26; May 17 and 24; June 14, 21, and 28; and July 15 and 19.
EPCOT dates include January 21; February 18; April 1, 15, and 22; May 6 and 13; June 3 and 12; July 8, 22, and 29; and August 7, 12, and 19.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios has the largest schedule, with dates on January 16 and 27; February 13 and 24; March 13, 17, and 24; April 7, 24, and 28; May 19 and 26; June 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30; July 5, 12, and 26; and August 4 and 25.
That gives guests plenty of opportunities, but each park offers a slightly different experience.
What Guests Get for the Higher Price
Magic Kingdom After Hours runs from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m., with event ticket holders allowed to enter at 7 p.m. Tickets cost between $189 and $209 before tax.
Expected attractions include Haunted Mansion, TRON Lightcycle / Run, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, and Peter Pan’s Flight.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios runs from 9:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. on most dates. The April 24 event instead runs from 10:30 p.m. until 1:30 a.m. Guests can enter beginning at 7 p.m., and tickets range from $159 to $199 before tax.
The attraction lineup includes Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Slinky Dog Dash, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Alien Swirling Saucers, and Toy Story Mania!
Finally, EPCOT After Hours runs from 9:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m., with entry available beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets range from $159 to $189 before tax.
Guests can expect attractions including Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Soarin’ Across America, Frozen Ever After, Test Track presented by General Motors, Spaceship Earth, Mission: SPACE, Living with the Land, The Seas with Nemo & Friends, and Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros.
Of course, attraction availability can change, so guests shouldn’t consider any lineup completely guaranteed.
Disney After Hours Is Becoming a Serious Splurge
Disney After Hours still has plenty of appeal. Lower wait times and extra nighttime access can completely change how much guests accomplish compared to a crowded regular park day, especially for visitors hoping to experience several popular attractions in just a few hours.
But there’s no getting around the higher price.
Magic Kingdom now starts at $189 in 2027 and reaches $209 on select nights. Even the cheapest ticket costs 8% more than the $175 starting price guests encountered in 2026.
For a group of four paying the maximum price, the bill is $836 before tax and approaches $900 after tax.
That makes After Hours less of a casual vacation add-on and much more of a major purchase that guests will have to decide is worth the splurge, particularly as other parts of a Walt Disney World vacation continue getting more expensive.
