On Tuesday, emergency responders were called to Walt Disney World Resort’s exclusive Golden Oak residential community. The six neighborhoods of multimillion-dollar homes designed by Walt Disney Imagineers are located just four miles from Magic Kingdom Park, and homeowners benefit from amenities such as direct transportation to the Central Florida Disney parks and exclusive Disney-themed events.

At 6:44 a.m. on September 8, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from the Disney Golden Oak residential community. Law enforcement scanner monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime shared the call log on X (formerly known as Twitter):

Law enforcement responses at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, hotels, and Disney Springs are often logged under a single address for each location rather than at the exact coordinates where a 911 call originated. The pinned location on Dream Tree Boulevard in the Google Maps screenshot attached to the X post may not reflect where the first responders were called on Tuesday morning.

The nature of the “911 emergency” call at Disney Golden Oak on Tuesday morning is unknown. If criminal charges or a police report are filed, more information may become available from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. However, if the law enforcement response was for a medical emergency or other non-criminal situation, authorities will withhold information to protect the privacy of those involved.

Operations across Walt Disney World Resort continued normally on Tuesday, despite the law enforcement response at Disney Golden Oak. Central Florida Disney Park guests can continue their vacation itineraries as planned.
