Universal Orlando Locks New Annual Passholder Perk Behind 2 Sold-Out Events

Universal Orlando Annual Passholders have another exclusive collectible up for grabs, but this one comes with a pretty significant catch.

As Universal Orlando’s 2026 Passholder Appreciation Days get underway, the resort has rolled out a new magnet inspired by one of Universal Studios Florida’s most recognizable attractions: Revenge of the Mummy.

Normally, a new Annual Passholder magnet means passholders have a window of time to visit the resort, stop by a designated distribution location, and pick one up while supplies last. This time, however, Universal is handling things differently.

The new Revenge of the Mummy magnet is only being handed out during Universal Orlando Passholder Nights on August 15 and 16. That means simply having a valid Universal Orlando Annual Pass isn’t enough to guarantee you can get one.

And there’s an even bigger issue for passholders who didn’t already make plans.

Both Passholder Nights required advance reservations, and those reservations are now completely booked.

So, while Universal has a brand-new passholder freebie available, a large number of Annual Passholders may not have any opportunity to actually collect it.

A New Revenge of the Mummy Magnet Has Arrived

The latest Universal Orlando Annual Passholder magnet takes its inspiration directly from Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Studios Florida.

Universal went with an ancient Egyptian look that immediately connects the collectible to the attraction.

The square magnet features rounded corners and a brown background designed to resemble an Egyptian wall covered with hieroglyphics. A large gold “UOAP” logo dominates the design, with “Passholder” written underneath.

The biggest detail is found directly in the UOAP logo.

A metallic blue-and-gold scarab takes the place of the “O,” while brighter stone blocks appear along the bottom of the magnet.

It’s a design that should be instantly recognizable to anyone familiar with Revenge of the Mummy.

However, getting your hands on one is where things become much more complicated.

There’s a Major Catch for Universal Orlando Passholders

Universal Orlando has made the new magnet exclusive to Passholder Nights on August 15 and August 16.

The special after-hours events take place at Universal Studios Florida from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. Passholders attending the events get access to select attractions and entertainment along with character appearances and a DJ dance party.

That sounds like a pretty good night for Universal fans, especially with the new magnet added as another exclusive perk.

But Passholder Nights aren’t something Annual Passholders can simply decide to attend at the last minute.

Universal required advance reservations for the events, and both nights are now fully booked.

That creates an unusual situation for anyone interested in the magnet.

If you have a Universal Orlando Annual Pass but didn’t secure a Passholder Nights reservation before the events filled up, you won’t be able to simply visit Universal Studios Florida during regular operating hours and pick up the new collectible.

Based on the announced distribution details, the magnet is tied specifically to those two Passholder Nights.

That makes this a much more limited giveaway than a typical perk that remains available over several days or weeks.

Not Every Passholder Will Have Access

The distinction is especially important because Universal Orlando has a large Annual Passholder community.

A person could have an active pass, visit Universal Studios Florida regularly, and even visit during Passholder Appreciation Days without necessarily having access to this particular giveaway.

The key is whether that person already reserved a spot for Passholder Nights.

Because reservations are full, there isn’t an easy way for another passholder to decide they want the magnet and make plans to attend one of the events now.

In other words, Universal didn’t technically make the magnet available to every Annual Passholder throughout the Appreciation Days celebration. Instead, it attached the collectible to two specific reservation-only events.

For collectors, that difference matters.

Passholder magnets have become popular souvenirs because they’re small, exclusive, and tied to having an Annual Pass. Some passholders collect them year after year, especially when Universal creates designs around popular attractions or franchises.

Revenge of the Mummy certainly fits that description.

But this particular magnet may prove more difficult to add to a collection because of its extremely short distribution period and the reservation requirement.

Passholder Appreciation Days Are Still Underway

The limited magnet arrives as Universal Orlando begins its larger 2026 Passholder Appreciation Days celebration.

Passholder Appreciation Days run from August 15 through September 30, giving Annual Passholders more than a month to take advantage of special offerings around the resort.

Universal’s Passholder Nights fall right at the beginning of that celebration.

During Passholder Appreciation Days, Universal is offering exclusive merchandise and food, special discounts, and other limited-time benefits for Annual Passholders.

That means passholders who couldn’t get into the August 15 or August 16 events aren’t completely missing out on the larger celebration.

There are still other Appreciation Days offerings available.

The Revenge of the Mummy magnet, however, is different because its distribution window is much smaller than the overall Passholder Appreciation Days period.

Passholder Appreciation Days continue through the end of September, while the magnet is being distributed exclusively during the two Passholder Nights in August.

That is something passholders will want to keep in mind before heading to Universal Studios Florida expecting to find the magnet later in the celebration.

This Isn’t the First Revenge of the Mummy Passholder Magnet

Longtime Universal Orlando Annual Passholders may also notice that Revenge of the Mummy has received the magnet treatment before.

Universal released another magnet based on the attraction in 2022.

That earlier version looked noticeably different from the new collectible. The 2022 magnet featured a blue background with white UOAP lettering, and it also worked a scarab into the logo.

The new 2026 version keeps the scarab idea but takes the design in a much different direction.

Instead of the brighter blue appearance, Universal has leaned into brown, gold, stone textures, and Egyptian imagery. The result feels much more directly connected to the visual style guests encounter around Revenge of the Mummy.

For passholders who already have the 2022 version, the new magnet effectively gives them a second Revenge of the Mummy collectible to add to the lineup.

Of course, they’ll need that Passholder Nights reservation to actually get it.

The Timing Makes This Magnet Particularly Limited

What makes this giveaway stand out isn’t simply that Universal created another passholder magnet.

It’s how narrow the opportunity is to obtain it.

Universal’s larger Appreciation Days event stretches from August 15 through September 30. That’s plenty of time for passholders to plan a trip around many of the special benefits.

The magnet doesn’t have that same lengthy window.

It is attached to two evenings, both of which required reservations before the events began.

For anyone already attending Passholder Nights, the magnet becomes another bonus on top of the special entertainment, attractions, character appearances, and DJ party.

For everyone else, it may be one of the Appreciation Days perks they have to miss.

Unless Universal announces another distribution opportunity, passholders shouldn’t assume the magnet will remain available throughout the rest of Passholder Appreciation Days.

The announced distribution is exclusively tied to August 15 and 16.

Universal Passholders Have Plenty Happening This Summer

Even with the magnet’s limited availability, Universal Orlando is putting a lot of attention on its Annual Passholders during the next several weeks.

Passholder Appreciation Days give Universal an opportunity to offer benefits specifically aimed at some of its most frequent visitors, from special food and merchandise to discounts and other extras.

The Revenge of the Mummy magnet adds another collectible to that lineup, and its attraction-specific design could make it particularly appealing to longtime Universal Studios Florida fans.

But this isn’t a freebie that every passholder can simply walk into the park and claim.

You’ll need access to Universal Orlando Passholder Nights on August 15 or August 16, and those events are already fully booked.

For passholders who secured reservations, there’s now one more reason to make sure they don’t miss their night at Universal Studios Florida.

For everyone else, the new Revenge of the Mummy magnet may end up being one of Universal Orlando’s harder passholder collectibles to get in 2026.
