Annual Passholder reservations for Disney’s Hollywood Studios are now sold out for Friday, May 22–the day the new mission inspired by The Mandalorian & Grogu (2026) debuts on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. At SXSW, Walt Disney Imagineering announced that Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort would add a new mission inspired by The Mandalorian & Grogu to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The updated experience will premiere at both Disney parks on May 22, the same day the film premieres in theaters.

In this new mission, Disney Park guests assist Din Djarin and Grogu on a bounty hunt, chasing pirates and ex-Imperial officers. For the first time, guests will be able to choose their destination from options including Bespin (Cloud City), the wreckage of the second Death Star near Endor, or the city-planet Coruscant.

As of Thursday, May 7, theme park reservations for Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 22 have sold out for all tiers of Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes, including the Incredi Pass, Sorcerer Pass, Pirate Pass, and Pixie Dust Pass.

Provided that Disney’s Hollywood Studios doesn’t reach capacity, Annual Passholders without existing theme park reservations for that date will not be able to enter the park until after 2:00 p.m. Passholders who have reservations for Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, or Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park can park hop anytime after they scan into their chosen theme park.

Theme park reservations are no longer required for date-based tickets at Walt Disney World Resort. Some non-date-based tickets may still require reservations, so guests should check their booking information to see if they need to book specific dates to visit Magic Kingdom Park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT.
