Walt Disney World Resort can now introduce dynamic pricing for merchandise with new digital signs that allow stores to update souvenir prices at a moment’s notice. Crews recently installed the updated displays at multiple shops at Disney Springs, and they’re likely to arrive at other locations around the Central Florida vacation destination soon.
Digital Prices at Walt Disney World Resort

On March 19, WDWNT reported that digital pricing displays had arrived at the Marketplace Co-Op and Disney’s Pin Traders, two merchandise locations in Disney Springs, the shopping, dining, and entertainment district. The outlet shared a photo of one of the signs on Facebook, which showed the price that corresponded to a color label, the system commonly used for smaller souvenirs at Walt Disney World Resort, like trading pins, keychains, pens, and magnets.
Walt Disney World Resort did not publicly announce this change or say whether it would roll out to other stores throughout its Central Florida theme parks and hotels.
Dynamic Pricing on the Way?
The new digital signs allow Walt Disney World Resort to update prices at a moment’s notice, potentially enabling dynamic pricing: changing the cost of goods instantaneously based on demand, availability, and other trend forecasts.

Although Disney hasn’t introduced plans to implement this system for merchandise, the company previously said it planned to bring dynamic theme park ticket pricing to Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort–meaning that the price of park admission could change based on when you book it. Disneyland Paris Resort has already introduced this change.
“We’re actually investing in creating dynamic pricing,” Disney’s Senior Executive VP and CFO, Hugh Johnston, said in November 2025. “We’re doing it in Paris right now. We’ve been doing it for about a year. It’s off to a very good start, but we’re really going to make sure we optimize it before we bring it into the domestic parks. So that’s probably something that you won’t see this year, but you may see in the subsequent years.”
