Previously, Disney had simply announced that the experience would arrive during Memorial Day weekend. The newly revealed date places the launch one day after the holiday itself.
The timing also aligns with the kickoff of Cool Kids’ Summer across Walt Disney World Resort, a seasonal initiative designed to bring additional energy and entertainment offerings to the parks during the busy summer travel period.
The patriotic Soarin’ experience will only run for a limited time, giving guests a temporary chance to experience the United States from a bird’s-eye view.
The attraction is also heading west. Disney California Adventure Park will receive the same Soarin’ Across America overlay beginning July 2, allowing guests visiting Disneyland Resort to experience the celebration as well.
