First responders rushed to the EPCOT Resort area around 8:00 a.m. on December 9 after the local fire department requested assistance with the crash.

At 8:00 a.m., firefighters paged law enforcement and paramedics for help with a vehicle crash in the EPCOT Resort area. X (formerly known as Twitter) account @WDWActiveCrime, which monitors and reports 911 responses at Walt Disney World Resort, posted about the accident moments after it occurred.

It’s unclear how many people were injured in Tuesday morning’s crash or the severity of those injuries. Although law enforcement occasionally releases police reports related to criminal activity at Walt Disney World Resort, private medical information is rarely published. It’s unlikely that any additional information will be made available unless one of the victims does not survive the accident.

Despite the vehicle accident on Tuesday morning, operations at EPCOT and all other Walt Disney World Resort locations are continuing normally. Guests can drive or take the bus, Monorail, Disney Skyliner, or watercraft transportation to EPCOT.
