Some people love to hate these Disney rides, and others hate to love them.

Disney World is home to dozens of classic rides and attractions, ranging from slow-moving ark rides like Pirates of the Caribbean to exhilarating thrill rides like Space Mountain. While there’s room for debate, attractions like “it’s a small world,” Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and Haunted Mansion tend to take the top spots.
While there’s a lot to love at Disney, there’s a lot to dislike, too. Other attractions like Mission: Space, Journey into Imagination with Figment, and Kali River Rapids tend to rank low among both hardcore fans and newcomers.
However, there’s a third category of attraction at Walt Disney World: guilty pleasures.
You may feel bad about loving these rides, but you can’t help it. A great example of this is DINOSAUR. The ferocious prehistoric thrill ride has delighted and frightened guests for decades at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but it’s never ranked all that highly among its counterparts.
Fans have labeled DINOSAUR cheap and tacky, and while this may be true, the ride itself is still a whole lot of fun.

Another example is the previously mentioned Kali River Rapids. This attraction gets a bad wrap, most of which is earned, but this water raft ride still has a lot to offer, as long as you are ok getting wet.
Kali River Rapids takes guests over, around, and down a raging rapids river. It also features some of Animal Kingdom’s best theming and storytelling.
The biggest issue with Kali River Rapids, aside from its wet factor, is how short it is. Most of Disney’s theme park rides feel worth their length, but Kali River Rapids is over in the blink of an eye. This wouldn’t be so bad, but remember, guests have the chance to get completely soaked here.

Another attraction we can’t help but love is Alien Swirling Saucers. Part of Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, this family-friendly spinner ride may look tame, but it’s still a whole lot of fun.
Unlike Mad Tea Party at Magic Kingdom, Alien Swirling Saucers feels a lot more fun and thrilling than Disney’s other carnival-style spinner ride. Swirling Saucers whips guests around and beside each other, all while some really catchy Toy Story tunes play over the speaker.
It’s certainly not Disney’s most complex or impressive ride, but we love it just the same.
With so many rides and attractions, guests really can’t go wrong when it comes to Walt Disney World. Sure, some rides may look or feel better than others, but there’s fun to be had around every corner inside “The Most Magical Place on Earth.”
